Forums Other Flight changes and cancellations help BA non payment of compensation

  • 1 post

In April this year I had my direct flight to Las Vegas cancelled after check in and was rerouted via Chicago the next day. After check in this flight was then also cancelled but I was rerouted via New York later that day and arrived in Las Vegas more than a day late.

On my return I raised a compensation claim with BA where they admitted compensation was owed, this was in May this year. Despite several follow up queries and BA indicating they would raise with their payments team why payment hasn’t been made they have still not payed the compensation they admitted was due.

Would appreciate advice on how/where I can escalate this matter as I can’t see how making this type of payment should take so long, if they think I will go away and forget about the compensation payment they are totally wrong, it has made me more determined to see this through to the end.
