I think the answer to this is Yes, but I am flying Manchester-Heathrow-Vienna-Heathrow-Manchester on a single booking.

Manchester legs are in Euro Traveller and Vienna legs in Club Europe.

When I fly back and transit through Heathrow – I think I can access lounges at T5 before Manchester flight as I have arrived on Club Europe. Is this correct? And how do I prove this?

    Thanks

I am not 100% sure – if you’re coming off a Long Haul flight then you definitely do get lounge access before your next flight. I think BA will let you, but I don’t think it’s a Oneworld benefit for short haul (I may be wrong either way about that). You would need to show your VIE-LHR boarding pass (as well as the next boarding pass) to the lounge agent.

If your MAN-LHR is on the same day as the LHR-VIE then it would be worth trying at MAN using the LHR-VIE boarding pass

    Unfortunately I think that’s a no.

It’s a Oneworld benefit only when connecting between longhaul and shorthaul. Shorthaul to shorthaul doesn’t work.

Connecting between oneworld marketed and operated flights: First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 06:00am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul (a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours) and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa).

As you’re heading to VIE in CE, you’ll be able to enjoy the T3 lounges on the outbound so that should be very pleasant!
