Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club BA Holiday Vouchers.. the missing link

Does anybody know how to redeem these?
    1. When you do a BA Hols booking there is no box to add the voucher number to redeem them
    2. Ba Hols phone lines are all but shut for the duration
    3. Gold Line shrug shoulders and say you have to call Hols line (see above)
    4. Or the say speak to sales team who “may’ be able to add it to a booking ( see 2 above again)

There are already several threads on how to use a voucher on a BA Holiday so please look at those

Yet another subject that could use a master thread! What kind of vouchers?

Chris C . Thanks for nothing. I did try to RTFF but its all jumbled in the new Forums but hey why waste the opportunity to troll rather than be helpful eh?
Northern Lass, Agree a master thread would be a good idea. If you got an FTV from BA Holidays , they sneakily only let it be used on another BA Holidays booking, not an Avios booking or a 2-4-1 or even a straightforward cash flight booking Then they removed the box to add it against the invoice on the payment page and thees no email to use. Hence my email. 🙂

So it was a voucher from a BA Holiday cancellation? In that case you should have an email instructing you to reply with your new booking reference. Also, quite a few of us did manage to redeem these vouchers against avios bookings!

Im glad that worked for you. I think they’ve gotten more efficient at nailing down the escape routes recently . The email referred to adding the code to a holiday booking, impossible online now and Gold rep wouldn’t let me use it for anything else or rather, her computer said no.
Latest advice is to make the holiday booking then call the Gold line and get them to contact Hols team with the FTV voucher and they think they can get it to retrospectively add. Will have a go tomorrow.

Waiting on hold gets the mind thinking tho…No sign of the £50 discount for the value of booking made before end of today. Thats another conversation 🙂
As is the one to get Iberia to add seat reservations on the BA booked Holiday flights.
So many reasons to listen to the hold tune for another hour..
