Not sure how many others have had these but seen lots of flight cancellations coming through this week. For example LHR-SIN in May 2022, A380 have been removed and reduced to 1x flight a day. I was booked in F and thankfully the plane was swapped to a 789 and we managed to still get our F class seats on this.
Just lucky I guess…
Also see changes to SFO in May, where BA287 is removed and/or now not a A380.
My flight to SJC just got delayed a few months so they have offered SFO on the 287 which is a 4 class 777. This is April 10th. 285 is also running a 777 but with CS but only has 1 seat left in CW so our only option it seems is the 287 which seems wide open but worse then our 788 smaller 232 cabin. There def was an a380 on that day as I was chasing avios seats for months on it. DFW has also had it’s a380 launch delayed / cancelled and LAX has dropped it from Jan, but is taking the A350 once a day plus SAN is as well
Looks to be affecting a lot of routes. We’re booked on BA205 on 21/09 from LHR-MCO and it’s been changed from an A350 to a 777 with the old style CW. Was originally scheduled to be an A350 from April onwards. Really hoping this changes back to Club Suites before our trip.
