BA uses a mixed socket of 3.5mm and 3 mm or 2.5mm for their Business Class headphones. The only adapters I can find are dual 3.5mm converting to a stereo single 3.5mm socket. Does anyone know where I can buy an adapter as I have a Bluetooth device with a single 3.5mm jack that connects to my Apple AirPods. Alternatively, can I get stereo sound if I just plug this into the 3.5mm BA socket, please?
I’m fairly sure that the 3.5mm pin supplies the stereo audio, while the other pin is supplies power for the noise cancellation in the provided headsets, so you can just use the 3.5mm socket on its own if you wanna connect your own headphones (or bluetooth adaptor…)
Fair warning – I’ve got a AirFly bluetooth adaptor to use with my airpods, and found that there’s a small but perceptible lag that makes the audio ever so slightly out of sync with the video. YMMV.
