I’m after some advice please. I have a BA American Express Premium Plus Companion Voucher and wanting to try and use it to go to Sydney, business class. I know they are difficult to get!
What I want to do is have a stopover in Singapore (2/3 nights) on the way out. How would I go about that to have the best chance to get both trips (UK to Singapore / Singapore to Sydney), business class? Which one to book first?
Or is it just luck?
Hoping to go April 2024.
Any advice? Thanks.
Someone asked this exact same question a few months ago, the thread should still be around somewhere. I think the issue is that you would need to wait for the SIN-SYD leg to be released, by which time the LHR-SIN seats may well be gone.
But if you do book LHR-SIN with the 241, you can’t then subsequently add SIN-SYD to the same booking, you’d need to cancel, hope the seats go back into the inventory and start again.
The new-style 241 may release extra availability but there’s no way to know for sure if or when this will happen, so it’s case of checking regularly on ba.com.
April 2024 is currently being released so you need to start looking for your seats. There was some availability yesterday for both destinations according to SeatSpy but it got snapped up fairly quickly. Also have a look at the threads about booking seats when they are released at midnight/ 1 am, and adding the return at a later date.
