Is this correct? I’m a BA Bronze member which is the equivalent of oneworld Ruby tier status. However my QA Privilege Club status says I’m the lowest tier, Burgundy. Should it not be Silver?
Also, is there a way to combine Household members Avios in Privilege Club similar to the BA household account? I’ve added my wife to the former but only my Avios are appearing even during a booking.
Cheers
Just because you are BA Bronze does not mean you have equivalent status in Qatar’s scheme. I am Silver with BA but only Burgundy with Qatar. Do not confuse the OW Ruby colour with the colour that Qatar assigns its scheme names.
I don’t know whether Qatar has an equivalent of the HHA in BAEC
As AJA as said you are confusing status recognition of your BAEC status across other OW airlines with signing up to different OW airlines FF programme and starting from scratch. Normally you would only want to be part of one scheme and seek recognition of your status across airlines, but with Qatar (and for similar Reasons with Iberia, Vueling and AirLingus), as it now use Avios as miles currency, and it can be linked to your BAEC account, it offers additional Avios earning opportunities as well as additional revenue seat to spend your Avios
