Ok, I don’t know if it’s a recent thing, but in the past when I’ve looked, the BA website and QR have been totally in-sync with regard to Reward Seat pricing for QR Reward seats, but recently this appears to have gone totally out the window. If this normal???
I have just booked a QR Business Class Reward Seat flying KIX-DOH-MAN. As expected, QR quoted my 80,000 Avios +£189 as expected.
Not familiar with the QR cancellation policy and heard a few bad rumours, I thought I would see if I could book the flight through BA. The exact same flights came in with the following options for the EXACT SAME FLIGHT:
103,000 Avios +£52.70
92,700 Avios +£292.70
77,250 Avios +£562.70
63,950 Avios +£817.70
58,350 Avios +£922.70
51,500 Avios +£1,007.70
All are clearly much worse than the QR. Have I been sleeping under a rock or is this a new thing?
Kindest regards,
N
