I understand you can’t refer someone from this card but is there a bonus for adding a supplementary card holder?

Does anyone know whether the On Business points get credited when a BA flight is purchased or when it is flown?

I added a supplementary (after getting my card, not at time of application) but there was no bonus for doing so.
