Avis spend £200 get £30 back – pays on international bookings?

Hi everyone,

Did anyone use the Avis cashback offer through Amex offers? I am trying to figure out if it applies for rentals outside of the UK. The T&C say that it applies only for UK domestic rentals but I’ve heard conflicting stories regarding this.

Yeah, this one is weird this time. I have used the Avis offers a few times in the past and they always paid immediately for international bookings.

This time I made another international booking, but only looked at the T&Cs when I did not receive the cashback and noticed the domestic booking condition. Assumed it was a different offer, not sure if that is always there.

Then randomly over one month later the cashback triggered anyway for that same booking!

Same, international booking triggered the cashback but a good few weeks later. Through ba car hire site too.

Ditto, but for the BA card, get 3000 bonus Avios triggered on a USA prepaid booking via carhireBA.
