Avios booking on QR booked on BA – schedule change

In May I have booked LGW-DOH-HKG-DOh-LGW using avios on Qr booked via BA website in business class / first (doh-hkg-doh first)

There has been a schedule change of an hour each direction which makes the connection 2 hours

When going onto MMB on QR website they are offering a full refund or accept change on there website

I’ve booked via BA they are not offering anything

Why are QR offering this option , could I contact them direct to see if we could change the flights as we wanted to max time in the first lounge in doh both directions and would prefer to fly from LHR as live closer

If you’ve still got a valid connection then BA won’t do anything. QR can’t do anything as it isn’t their ticket, it’s BA’s. So nothing to be done here especially as QR are not receptive to being helpful with changes even when there has been a cancellation etc. If you’re seeing options on their website sounds like just bad IT, if you clicked would give an error most likely

If you booked on BA then BA rules apply.

There hasn’t been a calcellation so an airport swap isn’t an option.

You could always cancel for the £35 fee, move your avios to QR and then rebook if you wanted different flights and airport.
