Hi everyone!
I recently completed a Club World roundtrip from London to the US. The trip included US domestic legs on AA + London-Miami and Chicago-London on BA.
Weirdly I’ve been awarded Avios based on distance and not the price. What could the reason be?
The no. of Avios matched exactly the distance-based Avios on BA’s calculator so I’m certain that’s the case, but not sure why.
The booking was made through a corporate travel agent (FCM).
If BA can’t
see the price you paid for the ticket then avios are awarded on the old distance method.
Thanks!
Is there a way to get it corrected/ reversed? Or no point trying?
