Avios 40% off to Salerno already sold out?

I’m relatively new to the points world and happy to be here!

I recently got the Amex Gold and have now accumulated 43,000 points.

As someone from Salerno now living in London, I was really excited to see the Avios 40% off offer on the new LGW–QSR route launching this summer.

However, whenever I search for flights on the Avios app or the BA website—no matter the dates—I never see the discounted options shown in the article’s screenshot, even when checking likely off-peak times like October.

Since the offer still pops up every time I open the Avios app, I’m wondering: could the discounted availability already be gone? Is anyone able to see or book the flights with the discounted fares?
Would calling the BA call centre be helpful in this case?
