Are cash advance fees shown as soon as transaction processes?

If you put a transaction on reward plus card which will trigger a cash advance charge (topping up revolut or whatever) does the charge usually appear right away or is it only calculated/shown when the statement is generated?

I did a test pmt to Che this time last year and the 5% cash advance fee posted immediately, on the date of posting of the transaction (so the day after the actual transaction date).
