Apple Pay and Amex offers

Sorry if this is a stupid, obvious question, but I have tried searching and not found it specifically asked and answered on this site or elsewhere, and I want to be sure.

I cannot locate my physical PlatPers Amex so plan to use Apple Pay to do a large shop at Morrisons. Extremely slow credit speed aside, will using Apple Pay trigger the offer?

I’ve used Apple Pay many times when redeeming an offer. It’s never caused a problem or delay and the cash back has always been posted.

No issues with Amex offers posting when using Apple or Google Pay.
