Anyone used the Utu tax free app for miles?

Received an email from TAP promoting Utu for tax free shipping and earning miles. Nom the clearer how it actually works?

I have the app. A really a good idea for me as I never receive tax back.
In September I am planning to try it in real life.

According to the app for a €10 of taxback, you get 456 Avios (via Qatar Privilege).

How does it work? You load up the app with credit (get miles), and spend the credit via the app on goods?

When you spend abroad in a retailer which participates in VAT refunds for tourists, Utu processes your refund for you and gives you the choice of taking it in cash or miles.
