Buying lunch I tapped my phone with curve selected in Google pay, got the green tick so was surprised when the cashier said it hadn’t gone through. Expecting it to be the usal pin check after X transactions I used the card and entered the pin. It came up declined, so I used a different card without problem. But I notice the two declined transactions showing in the app as having gone through.
Will these time out naturally or will I need to contact curve?
Belay that, I did message curve and they came back almost immediately explaining that the transactions had initially passed and then failed at the POS, they have been reversed but a bug in the app is not showing the true declined status.
