We are flying into Montreal and back from Vancouver in August. Current plan is to fly Montreal to Calgary, then after 2 days, drive to Kelowna, then after 4 days, drive to Vancouver.
Please tell me what you would do differently.
Thanks.Rather than staying 4 days in Kelowna I might break up the drive into 3 or 4 parts.
I have done this drive several times (although never as one of the drivers) and I don’t really remember what we did except go hiking and wander around the various lakes.
In August it will be extremely hot though in the Rockies it could still be cold.

Nice for a couple of days, go have dinner in a vineyard or two. We drove down from Calgary but left the car in Kelowna and flew on down to Vancouver. Quite cheapo and saved hours of boring driving. The Rockies leg was much better in the car.
