I have just been looking for ways to make miles/points for paying my corporate tax bill. I can see plenty of info regarding personal tax but nothing really regarding corporate tax. I have a fairly hefty bill to be paid in the next 3 days (£95k) and wondered if there was anyway I could make something back at the same time?

Just been reading more and seen that corporate tax even with debit card carries 1.5% fee =( So none of the same options for personal tax are available for corporate tax.
The 1.5% would negate the benefits
Curve and Capital on Tap was the way to go, but you wont have time. If you plan on paying more CT next year then you might want to consider setting this up now and starting to pay at the fee free rate of £10k pcm.

Thanks guys. I think the Curve and Capital on Tap would make sense but the 1.5% would negate the benefits as Carlos mentioned. No point paying 1.5p per mile.
Or does curve metal show as a personal debit card and therefore not carry the 1.5% even when paying corporate tax?
Curve Metal does not attract the HMRC fee. Curve will however charge their own 1.5% fee for any payments over £10k pcm.
Basically, you can pay £10k per month without any fee and earn points. If you use Capital on Tap this is a 1% return or Avios if you pay the £99 fee for Business Rewards Plus. Note, Avios have no value for HMRC but cashback belongs to the business.

Hmm That seems to work out quite well. I would usually be expecting about 50K + PA corporate tax + VAT. So a set fee of £180 + £99 PA for the Curve Metal and CoT card. So as long as I am spending at least 5 x 10k a year I would consider that okay value =)
