Any recent experience of arriving in/departing from CDG / UK passports on HBO?!

Just to maximise our daytrip!
Not sure a large 11-yr old would wing it for any potential family queues?!Experience from September this year was absolutely fine, walked straight up to a passport kiosk, usual quick check and stamp and on the way.
Departing also pretty good, electronic initial passport check, but then as non-schengen get funnelled to a manned kiosk, delay about 1 minute and then off you go.
Similar experiences on multiple visits for rugby world cup last year.
We transited CDG during re-routing in August, even at the height of summer with hordes of Disney visitors it seemed pretty fast and efficient.
If you haven’t noticed them before, the little (large) one can marvel at the airport gendarmes whizzing around on their Segways!
