Hey folks,
Currently have used AMEX SUB’s, P2 not fussed about getting cards. Hold a PRG and a BAPP without any status with airlines, and am about to achieve the BarclayCard Avios+ SUB. I’m not sure there’s much point holding both cards, especially with the BC one to use where AMEX isn’t accepted. PRG has better offers for me but the earn rate isn’t good and I’m unlikely to meet both yearly spends on the AMEX’s so likely will need to allocate spending in one place.
What would you do? Any advise would be gratefully received.
Personally, I had the same issue.
I ended up sticking with the BAPP for the 241 voucher + 1.5 avios/£ and BarclayCard for any non-AMEX friendly stores.
I know people prefer Gold card and its Membership Rewards because of flexibility but honestly, I just stick with Avios. Check whether that flexibility is important to you or not before you make any decision.
