Has the points to statement credit value got better recently? I swear it was £4.50=1000 points and at the moment it is showing £6.25=1000 points. Have I missed something?

They do this on occasion. There has a very brief thread about this just over a couple weeks ago here.
For me, it’s been like this at least since the beginning of this month.
