I hold the Amex plat charge card , I see there is a bonus if I add a supp card to the account . Does that person go through a credit check to get the card. Are supp card always granted,
No credit Check, never heard of anyone being denied.
Given Amex’s recent poor reputation you’ll need to chase them after 90 days for the 5k points to post.

Should be their standard offer as listed on this page. But agree it often takes a fight these days.

There are checks – mainly ID, not credit. We had a supp for a nanny refused once.
