I’m interested in applying for the Amex plat charge card with the high fee. Can this be paid monthly or do you have to pay it on the first statement in full ? Called Amex twice , one agent advised you can’t pay the first fee monthly . Another agent said yih can … confused.com
You have to apply on the basis that it’s a lump sum payment but once the card is set up you can call them to have it debit monthly. The upgrade from Gold/Green deal at the moment specifically advertises as a monthly fee.
You don’t pay for the year until your first bill (sometimes your second) so apply and then on live chat or phone up and request to be billed monthly instead.
