Does anyone get an declined contact issuer spiel when they try and do a F&F?

It was for a genuine purchase as well at a charity auction, but wanted F&F, it then failed when I tried G&S. However it does work if I made a purchase on say Paypal gift cards etc.

Any chance you can post a list of the retailers available? I think it’s somewhat suspect that mywishcard do not provide a list until after buying a gift card.

Some examples here including Amazon https://redeem.mywishcard.co.uk/

Yes, I got a decline with F&F. Probably they sealed that as people were exploiting it

Made a test Wishcard purchase at 2200 yesterday. Received code within five minutes, but takes up to 24 hours to mature (like One4All). I will report back. Thanks to whoever pointed this out.

I was buying some concert tickets via Ticketmaster last week for just over £100 and used one of my PP CB, £20 paid within 2 days so that’s an option, also if you’re buying anything via Tavelzoo or Red Letter Days I’m sure they take PP.

You could have googled that faster and found the information immediately.

Is anyone able to confirm that if you purchase the Apple gift cards through Paypal, you can spend them on Apple products? It is still being marketed on the Paypal website as an AppStore and iTunes gift card, even though they are supposed to be merging into one gift card

Yes, they merge in your Apple account.

Data point – I used 2 card offers to buy a) clothes and b) gift cards online at M & S. Both the £15 and £20 credits appeared within 48 hours.

I have now completed my purchase of gift cards from WISHCARD using PayPal.
The list of available cards is here https://redeem.mywishcard.co.uk/
They are mostly the usual suspects but I don’t think you usually see Amazon, IKEA or Virgin with 20% statement credit.
You have to buy in multiples of £25 so buy £75 for the PayPal offer. You get a code to choose your gift card almost immediately but they say that it can take up to 24 to be validated. In fact it took 36 hours from Saturday 2200 until Monday 1100 but that was over the weekend (it is in Germany).
I bought £50 John Lewis/Waitrose and there web site confirms to balance and £25 Amazon which I have added to my account.
My view is that it is a bit clunky but worth it for 20%!

I agree, took me a little bit of searching to find this site and post it initially. Similarly, I bought 2*50 GCs to trigger the offer

Any more data points on whether this offer works on accumulative spend? I think one person mentioned it did.

A few people have mentioned getting the cashback for the single use offer (spend £100 get £20 back) on total spent over more than one purchase.

I have the offer spend £70 get £15 upto three times and it has NOT triggered after making two purchases (£50 and £40) so it might only work for the single use offer.

I wouldn’t read too much into that tbh, I have the same spend 70 get 15 offer, and have made 2 purchases last Friday of £70 and £76, and none of those have trigger yet either!

    @bungalow
, if you mean trigger as in getting an email. I also have the 70/15 offer and did not get an email from my Ocado order but the pay out was at the same time the transaction came off pending.

The emails seem to be a thing of the past.

I got an e-mail for one. No e-mails for the other two. All posted though.

I’ve actually had emails regularly now with every PayPal offer being used and all posting fine.

Even getting emails on every other offer being used for a change!

Don’t want to tempt fate, but I’ve found offers are posting a lot quicker these days and all tracking without issue. (I know I’ve joined it now though)

Sadly I didn’t get an email -but I did split payments across two transactions ( different websites ). I’m hoping it’s still accumulative. 🙏

I never got an email but cumulative spend did trigger it. Took a couple of days longer to post than the single transaction did on my other card though.

Noticed on checkout that Specsavers take Paypal for contact lense orders.

So just doubled my order to reach the £100 threshold, and have had the trigger email.
