Amex Gold Priority Pass question

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else. I already have the Amex Platinum but i am tempted in applying for the Gold card as it is free in the first year and has a better points earning rate for a number of things. I was wondering if anybody knew if the 4 priority pass credits which you receive as part of gold card could be used for Priority Pass restaurants or are you restricted to lounges only like on Amex Platinum?

Same rules as Amex Platinum – lounges only, no restaurants (except for Pizza Express in Gatwick North).

You need the HSBC Premier or Lloyds Mastercard version (amongst others) if you want restaurant credits.
