Applied for the Amex Business Gold Card soon after the bonus has been increased and was accepted.
Today, when checking my account I realised the only tracker showing is Quarterly Calendar Bonus.
Thought this might be a glitch as surely it was ages when I had a MR earning card.
I was wrong. Cancelled my Personal Gold card on the 21.01.2021.
13months from that date is Monday, February 21, 2022 (Source: https://calculat.io/en/date/count/13–months–from–21-january-2021)
My application was submitted to Amex on the Feb 22 (the odds!)
Am I still eligible for the bonus? Should I query this with Amex now?
It is possible that the day you think you cancelled and the day that Amex treats you as cancelled are not the same, especially if your balance wasn’t £0 at the time. May be worth a call to check.
