Can someone explain the steps to add pictures to the forum posts please. I saw there is a “IMG” button in the reply section but it asks for a URL. Does that mean I have to upload pictures from my phone or laptop to a website and then use the URL link to add to the post?
Appreciate, people are more tech savvy than I am but if someone can help me solve this mystery, that would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Yes, using something like https://imgbox.com/
Does anyone have tips on how to do this without the forum software throwing your post in the moderation bin? I just spent 15 minutes carefully crafting something with properly formatted links and inline images and it disappeared. Usually that means it’s gone to moderation, but I don’t know why.
In my experience anything that has 2 or more links typically goes to moderation, as does a reply to a reply (double quote)
Give it a couple of hours and it’ll get unblocked.
Adding anything to a post makes it likely to go to moderation.
Think it through – you are uploading a chunk of code into our database. The system is very sensitive about what exactly is being uploaded.
Mon-Fri office hours we clear stuff fairly quickly if we’re around. OUtside that it may take a couple of hours.
