Would it be possible to put individual posts as well as threads on a favourites list within my account (not a public “like” button)?
Would others find this useful?
I find there is often a nugget in a thread I won’t otherwise go back to. How do others file these away? Memory that’s better than mine, or an HfP spreadsheet of some sort?
With over 90k posts to trawl through I know realistically I’m not going to come across a lot of these nuggets again. And when a thread gets too long the panning becomes a pain.
The ability to view new/recent posts/threads since you last logged in, a bog-standard feature on 99% of forums, is a glaring omission here and should be the first thing to be added before any other nice-to-haves.
I feel the “recent topics” tab does a good enough job of telling me which threads I need to catch up on.
I sometimes think it would be nice to have it flagged if someone has replied to a post or @tagged.
A fruitless search for a post this morning led to my musing about having individual favourite posts. I admit it probably isn’t a priority but I don’t know how easy it is to implement this sort of thing.
