Hi guys,
Just want to know.
If I have AAdvantage platinum pro status, which = one world Emerald Tier. How can I use the benefit when fly British Airways?
So when I make booking I have to mention I am the member of AAdvantage program and give the membership number? Perhaps the British airways flights points + tier points will reward to my AAdvantage program? Not my British Airways Executive Club account?
It just I decided move to UK and trying to build BA Executive account.
Thanks
Yes to gain the benefits of oneworld emerald you will have to have your AA number in any BA bookings. This will of course mean any miles earnt and status points will credit to your AA account. You can always have your BA number in your BA bookings and show your AA APP/Membership card to check in agents/lounge agents to avail of the status benefits. But be careful they don’t change the frequent flyer number as they may do this. It might not be possible to have your benefits and credit miles elsewhere
