Hi
I’m flying BA next year in Premium Economy from Terminal 3. I have AA Platinum Pro which equates to Oneworld Emerald. Am I entitled to use any of the lounges? The information on the AA site is slightly confusing.
Thanks
Mark
Your OneWorld Emerald status gives you access to any of the OneWorld airline first or business lounges if you are flying from Heathrow T3. Including, for instance, the Cathay First lounge, or the Qantas business lounge. You are certainly not restricted to the American Airlines lounge.
There have been very recent articles and comments about the different T3 lounges in light of BA moving some of their flights from T5 to T3 for next year. So it would be worth searching articles and the forum over the last few days for those.
As per @Lyn, OneWorld is your friend here, if you use their lounge search tool it’s clearer who can enter the lounges.
I haven’t been in the AA lounge but several posters here, including Rob, have said that Cathay is far superior. I can confirm both Qantas and Cathay lounges are much better than BA Galleries, anyway!
