What’s the best way (if any?) of earning AA Points as a UK citizen?

Amex Marriott card or any of Amex MR cards and transfer points to Marriott Bonvoy and then to AA.
You can also try using the AA shopping portal – might work sometimes.

As above.

There is stuff like the AA hotel booking portal as well – these do count towards status I believe.

Note that I am guess Bonvoy transfers don’t count towards status in the new structure?

Interesting. Thank you sirs. Shame the credit card companies haven’t picked up a co-brand card. I used to own the MBNA AA card which was fruitful.
