I was accepted on 1 April, which to my mind means the ‘3 months’ period to spend £1000 ends on 30 June. I made a payment on 28 June (which took me over the threshold) but my Barclaycard App says I have ‘missed’ the bonus because the threshold period ended on 28 June..I’m in conversation with them, but it feels a little sneaky and manipulative. 3 months is not defined anywhere.

When these terms aren’t very clear and in this case it could potentially mean 12 weeks or three calendar months, you really need to check either by asking BC, Amex or whoever or looking in the app where the actual date is made very clear.
You should win the argument because of the lack of precision, but it’s a whole lot easier and avoids a lot of aggro not to run things to the wire. On another thread someone missed 100k Amex MR by running things too close (in that case spend and time).
Appreciate that…at no point was the 28 June mentioned. There are reasons why I couldn’t make the threshold earlier but that’s my problem… we’ll see what transpires.
Email yesterday confirms I got my bonus… still can’t confirm it via the App as there is a bug waiting to be sorted.
