Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points
My Fault, I didn’t read the offer correctly (dope). The £10k spend is per year so one 241 voucher in 12months.
Applying for a card in my partners name rather than a joint card holder, will that get around that limitation?
Once one gets to the 241 the incentive to spend on the card rapidly diminishes, ok its 1.5 points a £1 but better to achieve that on another card whilst earning towords the 241 it seems to me.
Further how does VA calculated the points earnt on a VA flight purchase, it shoudl track at 3/£ but it seems to be tracking only on 3k of a 3.5k purchase?
There’s no such thing as a joint cardholder – whoever earns the points will presumably be seen as the main cardholder and they get the 241.
But, yes, if your partners get their own then its fine.
A flight should be triple on the whole balance – never heard of any issues with this. You haven’t paid down your balance midmonth which does cause issues?
