I’ve just seen that on Pro you get 1.25% cash back if you preload. It’s not clear if this translates to Avios, I.e. you get 1.25 Avios per pound. Anyone know?

I asked my CoT account manager this week and he confirmed the 1.25% preload cashback benefit does extend to Avios
Just got the email about pushing me to the £199 (first year) card. Interesting if the 1.25% includes avios, although would need to do the maths to see if that’s worth the cost.
Apologies if I’m being dumb but pre-load spend means you add cash to card with zero balance then spend that to get the increased rate?
