Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle champagne returns to British Airways First Class

Last February, British Airways removed Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle from First Class.
Grand Siècle was the only genuinely premium drink that British Airways served. However deep the cost cutting, the airline knew that it had to serve a high quality champagne in First Class to retain any credibility.
When the champagne was removed, BA said that it was due to Laurent-Perrier removing it from the travel market. BA was innocent.
It is therefore surprising to see that it is back.
Grand Siècle will return to First Class on Sunday.
After three months it will be replaced by Lanson NOBLE Champagne 2008, with Bollinger Grande Année featuring from October, and Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires appearing in January 2026. Flights in First from New York JFK will retain Veuve Clicquot’s La Grande Dame 2015, pictured above.
English sparkling wine is also being added to First on a rotating basis. The initial offering from Sunday will be 1086 by Nyetimber Rosé 2014.
