Where does British Airways fly from London Gatwick this summer?

British Airways continues to rebuild its Gatwick schedules and is now close to where it was pre-pandemic.
Short haul operations restarted in 2022 following the launch of BA subsidiary BA Euroflyer. Long haul flights are operated by British Airways mainline with a dedicated fleet of 12 Boeing 777 aircraft.
You can expect the same inflight service as you would from Heathrow when flying British Airways from London Gatwick. There are no differences, except that the Gatwick long haul fleet is not scheduled to be upgraded to BA’s Club Suite at any point.
The following information is based on BA’s schedules for Summer 2025. Winter seasonal routes are not included but we will cover those later in the year when the full timetable is published.

British Airways long haul routes from Gatwick
British Airways flies to 18 long haul destinations from Gatwick this summer, although the vast majority only operate a handful of times each week.
- Accra (3 weekly)
- Antigua (5 weekly)
- Cancun (daily)
- Grenada (3 weekly)
- Guyana (2 weekly )
- Islamabad (3 weekly)
- Kingston – Jamaica (3 weekly)
- Las Vegas (3 weekly)
- Mauritius (3 weekly)
- New York (daily from May)
- Orlando (double daily)
- Port of Spain (3 weekly)
- Punta Cana – Dominican Republic (3 weekly)
- St Kitts (2 weekly)
- St Lucia (6 weekly)
- Tampa (daily)
- Tobago (1 weekly)
- Vancouver (daily, June-August only)
All British Airways long haul flights at Gatwick are operated with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. There are twelve currently based at Gatwick which feature a three class configuration, with Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy).
These aircraft feature 10-across economy seating and were refurbished in 2018 and 2019. They now feature upgraded in-flight entertainment screens and new soft finishes.
Note that Club Suite, BA’s ‘new’ business class seat does not regularly operate from Gatwick. The business class cabin features the old 2-4-2 yin-yang seat which does not feature direct aisle access or privacy doors (image below).
However, due to aircraft availability, some flights from Gatwick do see Club Suite services occasionally. This is very much the exception and not the rule.
British Airways short haul routes from Gatwick
British Airways will operate to 40 short haul destinations from Gatwick this summer – its biggest schedule in years.
These routes are operated by BA Euroflyer, the British Airways low cost subsidiary. However, the ‘low cost’ element only applies to the cost base. In-flight service and benefits, including lounge access, are identical to what mainline BA flights offer, albeit Gatwick flights use a different caterer to Heathrow.
