Important dates for your diary – offers about to close which you shouldn’t miss

The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

Credit and debit card offers

Until 27th May 2025, the sign-up bonus on ‘free for a year’ American Express Preferred Rewards Gold is increased to 30,000 Membership Rewards points. This converts into 30,000 Avios. Our full article is here. Click here to apply.

Until 27th May 2025, the sign-up bonus on The Platinum Card from American Express is increased to 80,000 Membership Rewards points. This converts into 80,000 Avios! The spend requirement is changed to £10,000 in six months for this offer. Our full article is here. Click here to apply.

Until 30th April 2025, the annual fee on the basic Hilton Honors debit card is halved from £60 to £30. The sign-up bonus is also easier to earn – you need to spend £1,000 either in the UK or abroad within three months. The usual bonus rule requires you to spend the full £1,000 outside the UK. Got a small business?

Until 8th April 2025, the sign-up bonus on American Express Business Gold is increased from 20,000 Membership Rewards points to 60,000 points. You receive 40,000 points when you spend £6,000 within three months and a further 20,000 points if you spend on the card between Month 14 and Month 17. Hotel promotions and ‘buy points’ offers

• Hilton Honors – earn double base points on all stays, cash or on F&B spend on reward stays, from 1st January to 30th April 2025 – register here

• IHG One Rewards – earn double base points on all cash stays, starting with your second stay, from 1st January to 31st March 2025 – register here

• Marriott Bonvoy – earn 1,000 bonus points per night AND double elite night credits on every cash stay between 11th February and 28th April 2025 – register here by 14th April

• Radisson Rewards – earn 500 bonus points on your first stay, 3000 on your second stay and 3500 on your third stay before 24th April 2025.  Bookings made before registration do not count – register here

• World of Hyatt – earn double base points on all stays (triple points at Hyatt House and Hyatt Place) from 27th January to 28th March 2025 – register here
