After losing the Regent Berlin hotel, which closed its doors for good at the end of 2024, IHG has added 303 rooms in the city to its portfolio.
The Hotel Bristol, currently managed by Kempinski, will join IHG’s Vignette Collection later in 2025. It will be known as Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection.

Vignette is IHG’s upscale ‘collection’ brand, competing with Hilton’s Curio, Hyatt’s Unbound and Marriott’s Autograph. It allows luxury independent hotels to join a ‘system’ without having to sign up to a long list of brand standards.
Bristol Berlin is located on Kurfürstendamm and has seen a full refurbishment over the last few years. Opened in 1952, it replaced the original 1891 property on Unter den Linden. This was destroyed in 1944 and the Russian Embassy was built on the site after the war.
