What does ‘Hilton for Luxury’ get you at Conrad, Waldorf Astoria and LXR hotels?

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Last autumn, Hilton rebranded its ‘preferred partner’ scheme for luxury travel agents. The ‘Impressario’ name was dropped, replaced by ‘Hilton for Luxury’.

The programme covers around 100 luxury hotels across five Hilton brands:

  • Conrad
  • Waldorf Astoria
  • LXR
  • NoMad (currently just the one London hotel)
  • Signia (only four sites to date, conference-driven luxury hotels)
Hilton for Luxury

Under ‘Impressario’, Hilton had aggressive ‘3 for 2’ and ‘4 for 3’ offers at the majority of the 100 hotels covered.

These offers roll over on 31st March each year. The list for 2025/26 is not yet available but we will publish it when we get it.

You CANNOT book ‘Hilton for Luxury’ rates on the Hilton website. You need to use a travel agent which can access ‘Hilton for Luxury’ benefits – details of our partner are below.

What does ‘Hilton for Luxury’ offer?

The ‘Hilton for Luxury’ benefits are unchanged from the old ‘Impressario’ ones.

Hilton for Luxury brands

When you book at any of the participating Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, LXR, NoMad or Signia hotels, you will receive:

  • Complimentary breakfast for two
  • $100 equivalent food & beverage credit
  • Double Hilton Honors points
  • One category upgrade, early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability

Benefits may vary slightly at some hotels.

Hilton for Luxury

Here are the important things you need to know:

  • there is no minimum stay required to receive these benefits – this makes one night stays especially good value because of the $100 food and beverage credit
  • you pay the Best Flexible Rate shown on hilton.com (Best Flexible Member Rate if you are a Hilton Honors members)
  • you pay at check-out as usual
  • all bookings are fully cancellable on the usual ‘Best Flexible Rate’ terms
  • all bookings earn Hilton Honors points (in fact, you earn double points) and elite night credits, and your elite benefits will also apply

How to book ‘Hilton for Luxury’

You need to book via a Hilton ‘preferred partner’ travel agent. Luckily for you, our luxury hotel booking partner Emyr Thomas at Bon Vivant is such an agent!

Drop him a brief note with your hotel and prospective dates and he will confirm the rate and the additional benefits you will receive. There are no booking fees or cancellation / amendment fees. We have worked with Emyr for many years now and feedback has always been great.

You can contact Emyr via the form on this page of Head for Points.

You can find out more about ‘Hilton for Luxury’ on hilton.com here but you cannot book online.

  • David says:

If I boom 2 rooms do I get double points on both? Hilton we’re adamant that double points on one room only and refused on the second room.

  • Sam S says:

As I diamond member, you start to wonder, what’s the point?

    • Emyr says:

All benefits from being Diamond stack with Hilton For Luxury. It’s a win win situation.

    • daveinitalia says:

As a lifetime diamond I see your point but I wouldn’t blame this scheme for devaluing the benefits. I’d say the biggest issue is that US citizens can get diamond with the right credit card, plus the quality of executive lounges at least at the Hilton level have declined since covid.

It’s been a while since I’ve booked through Emyr, but that’s simply because most of the places I need to be don’t have anything above Hilton/Doubletree level but when I’ve wanted to book a Conrad he’s always been very quick and responsive even on a weekend. Definitely worth booking through him as you still get all your Hilton benefits on top of the luxury hotels benefits.

  • Lumma says:

Is there an expectation to spend extra money in the hotel to continue to use an agent like Emyr, or do they have enough high value clients that the hotels don’t mind if someone maximises the benefits without?

    • Rob says:

That’s not why they do it.

Remember that many (most?) Americans use a travel advisor, because they know nothing of the world outside their own shores. These offers persuade travel advisors to book their clients into a Waldorf instead of a Park Hyatt or a St Regis.

These offers are really designed for the US market, albeit they are growing in populatity elsewhere. Emyr was one of only a handful of people doing this in the UK when we started with him years ago, now they are popping up everywhere.

      • Lumma says:

Ah right, so it’s more that because (almost) everyone else is offering a similar deal in their high end hotels, that hilton have to too, not that they’re offering it in the hope of getting additional spend

  • Nick G says:

If I’m gold and book for a family of three do we get free breakfast as part of my benefits as well as two free for the Hilton for luxury benefits I.E. 3 breakfasts in total?

Sounds great just need the 4for3 etc back🙏

    • Rob says:

No, but most hotels wouldn’t charge for a 3rd person in the same room.

      • Nick G says:

Never had a problem at WA in Berlin and stayed a few times under impresario, but other Hilton’s been charged. Maybe it’s because I booked for 3 using my gold status and not under the now luxury route?

    • aseftel says:

Bookings are flexible, so I just get the hotel to confirm over email that everyone gets breakfast. If not, can reconsider the booking.

  • Carl says:

I use HotelUX app which is provided free for all MasterCard World Elite holders, that way there is no need to drop a travel agent a note.

Also get to take advantage of the loyalty system which gets money off future bookings made through them.

    • Azza says:

Problem with that is you miss out on guaranteed benefits or offers the direct hotel scheme provide

Plus your booking would be lower down the upgrade list compared to hotel scheme.

  • Michael says:

I used Emyr for the first time earlier this year to take advantage of Hilton’s 4 for 3 nights at the Waldorf Astoria in Berlin. The booking process with Emyr was very smooth, I’d highly recommend his services and will definitely use again in the future.

    • memesweeper says:

My experiences have all been excellent.

    • AL says:

I’ve used Emyr twice and, both times, he’s been excellent. I’m a bit jealous half the time of his Instagram stories, though… plenty of nice trips!

  • Chris says:

I agree with Emyr and Bob this is a great scheme even as a lifetime Diamond I would unhesitatingly use it as it really is a win win. I too am looking forward to this year’s participating hotels for the 443 offer!

  • Mark says:

Now if only Emyr could book our rewards nights for the same perks

    • RussellH says:

      🙂

    • daveinitalia says:

Maybe get Emyr to book the first night for cash and then book subsequent nights using points. The main drawback is that if you’re not gold/diamond you won’t get the breakfast benefit on the reward nights, but the $100 is per stay anyway. Just hope that the hotel will let you keep your upgraded room
