Happy Christmas to you and your family from all of the team here at HfP.

Thank you for your support over the past year. We managed to grow page views again – up 12% on 2023 to 32 million, on top of 12% in 2022 – which means we’ve grown every year, even during the pandemic, since the site launched in 2012.

Happy Christmas from the Head for Points team

Please feel free to share your Christmas travel plans in the comments. Obviously Rhys wasn’t going to be sticking around, and despite being in Los Angeles ten days ago is now back across the Atlantic in Toronto. Sinead is in the UK having the first Christmas with her new son. Katie is here but disappearing off to Spain for New Year and Conny and I will be off to the Middle East.

We will slowly get back into things tomorrow as Rhys and I look back over our year in travel. Anyone waiting with bated breath for the next part of Barry’s SkyTeam odyssey will need to wait until Saturday – but be assured that he did (eventually) make it home for Christmas!

With our best wishes,

Rob, Rhys, Sinead, Katie and Conny

Like so many I’ve been ‘in’ from the beginning and although we travel much less than we did the addiction to those 3 emails each morning remains. Thanks team, it’s much appreciated. Various family members similarly infected!
One of our occasional trips is coming up on the 4th – 6 of us off to Miami with a variety of vouchers helping us all into front cabin of the upper deck 380 – return from Lima on Iberia with free seat selection.
    Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas everyone. Seasons Greetings too to those who are working, especially at airports and on planes, while the rest of us get to relax.

Merry Christmas to the HfP team

Travel plans for today include an immediate departure from my bedroom to the lounge for coffee.

Then a likely immediate turnaround to my starting point.

Rinse and repeat through the day though champagne may make an appearance later.

Actual travel is to LHR on Friday to overnight before a week in Berlin for New Year.

Next year will be a few trips to Amsterdam and Berlin as well as a week in New York.

‘Bated’, not ‘baited’ unless you have a poisoned hook in there somewhere. The dangers of the spellchecker.
Have a great break and keep up with the flow of useful info and money-saving ideas.

    Merry Christmas everyone!
Thank you to all who make the site a seemingly inexhaustible fount of help, tips and information, and a special thank you of course to Rob and the team for their hard work keeping us travelling in style.
I haven’t had so much time since the summer for hanging out in the forums. Hopefully that will change in the new year, but it’s comforting to know there is a helpful and knowledgable community here. Next trip for me is Iceland in Feb. Happy holidays all.

Congratulations, predictably the site (business) goes from strength to strength. You should be rightly proud of what you’ve achieved and built.

Good morning from the HGI T2, flying to Las Vegas later for the remains of Xmas, and to celebrate New Year.

    Merry Xmas all!

Newcastle with parents for Christmas and then hoping the airbridge at NCL is working for our flight to LHR tomorrow. Then straight to Cape Town for 2 days as my wife works for VS. Merry Christmas HfP 🎄
