Happy Christmas to you and your family from all of the team here at HfP.

Thank you for your support over the past year. We managed to grow page views again – up 12% on 2023 to 32 million, on top of 12% in 2022 – which means we’ve grown every year, even during the pandemic, since the site launched in 2012.

Happy Christmas from the Head for Points team

Please feel free to share your Christmas travel plans in the comments. Obviously Rhys wasn’t going to be sticking around, and despite being in Los Angeles ten days ago is now back across the Atlantic in Toronto. Sinead is in the UK having the first Christmas with her new son. Katie is here but disappearing off to Spain for New Year and Conny and I will be off to the Middle East.

We will slowly get back into things tomorrow as Rhys and I look back over our year in travel. Anyone waiting with bated breath for the next part of Barry’s SkyTeam odyssey will need to wait until Saturday – but be assured that he did (eventually) make it home for Christmas!

With our best wishes,

Rob, Rhys, Sinead, Katie and Conny

Happy Christmas to hte HfP team and all the regular and occasional commenters for making this such a great site and a mine if useful information. Having taken advantage earlier this year of newfound knowledge about the great value Qatar avios redemption options to NZ, we are off to Oz in First in the new year thanks to the ultimate combination of a 2 for 1 and a GUF…….would never have done this without HfP articles and threads!

Care to share how you accomplished that? I thought you can’t use 241 with Qatar

I’m visiting my Mum on the Australian Gold Coast. LHR-YYZ-YVR-SYD on Air Canada in Economy was a little painful – although fine as long haul Economy goes – but I am here.

A bit late to the party but Happy Christmas to all at HfP & everyone else. First 2025 trip leaving early Feb, a 5 week tour of Oz flying Qatar & booked earlier this year after reading on here about the best points booking options with them.

Happy Christmas everyone! Love this site, been reading articles here since 2013. Day starts with HfP articles, what better way to start the day. Just got back from visiting the markets in Berlin, Grand Hyatt was fantastic.
