Over the coming weeks, we will be posting a series of reviews from Rhys’ recent trip to Japan with Finnair. In the meantime, the airline is offering some very sharply priced business class flights to Asia.
Flights from London are clearly the most expensive given our high Air Passenger Duty, but you can find:
- Bangkok from £1,822
- Delhi from £1,486

- New York from £1,487
- Seoul from £1,693
For cheaper flights, you need to look at departures from European airports:
- Oslo – Bangkok from £1,342
- Oslo – Delhi from £1,103
- Oslo – Hong Kong from £1,605
- Oslo – Phuket from £1,576
- Oslo – Singapore from £1,749
Similar prices can be had from Amsterdam, Paris and various other European gateways. You’ll still have to pay for a connecting flight but depending on where you start you could make it a two-centre holiday by spending a couple of days in Europe before heading East.
The business class sales page is here. To find deals from European cities, simply change the locale and language on the Finnair website.
Remember that you earn Avios and British Airways Executive Club tier points when flying on Finnair if you credit the flights to your British Airways account.
