Lincoln Plaza, Hilton’s Curio Collection hotel in Canary Wharf that reopened this year following an extended pandemic closure, is offering cut-price deals in a bid to get people back in.

The offer is on Secret Escapes and is available for stays until March 2025. You will NOT see these prices on the Hilton website.

The price is as low as £108 per night in August, rising to £119-£153 in September and October. This represents a big discount on the standard rate – up to 50% at times. Breakfast is included if you pay a little extra.

If you want a bigger room, you can have one for a small supplement. The deal appears to be available seven days per week.

The hotel has a pool although it is advising that the water is currently cold – something it hopes to fix by 9th August. Free parking is also included, although you need to reserve in advance.

Note that you won’t get Hilton Honors points for your stay, or elite night credit, as this will be treated as a third party booking. That said, given the size of the saving much of the time, it’s a good trade-off.

You can book via this page of Secret Escapes – type ‘Lincoln Plaza’ in the search box, no dates are needed, and it will come up.

You CANNOT do a ‘Best Rate Guarantee’ to make Hilton match the price, as the deal is not ‘publicly available’ – you need to register with Secret Escapes (free) in order to book.

Regarding the HSBC World Elite card, we here in Jersey (CIIOM) have just had an email to say the fee is increasing from £195 to £290 as of September this year!
Note, they are still refusing to honour the 25% Avios bonus for us as well saying that was run by HSBC UK, not HSBC CIIOM. They did advertise the offer on the CIIOM website, and didn’t have anything in the T&Cs to say CIIOM were excluded…. I’ll be seriously looking to drop HSBC now, esp given the number of Online banking accounts that have recently been scammed over here. Coming from a technical background, the amount of data the scammers had on individuals must have meant they had either an internal data leak (bad actor) or something went very wrong on their IB security front. Either way, it’s been a very bad time for those affected.
