(SOLD OUT) Good Take That VIP deal in Manchester next week for Virgin Points

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

As you have possibly seen in the national press, Take That has moved its five Manchester concerts next week from the unfinished Co-Op Live arena to the AO (Manchester) Arena.

This is great news if you have Virgin Points, because Virgin Red has a box at the AO Arena.

Because these concerts have been arranged at very short notice, Virgin Red is knocking out the VIP box tickets at a good price.

Virgin Red Room AO Arena

For just 20,000 Virgin Points, you will receive two tickets for the Virgin Red Room suite for one of the Take That concerts. Olly Murs is supporting.

The dates are 7th May, 9th May, 10th May, 11th May and 12th May.

You will also get a free parking space at the arena and fast track access. Food and drink is NOT included (free soft drinks are available) but there is a private cash bar available – no queuing required!

Sinead wrote an article here about her experience in the Virgin Red Room at the AO Arena.

To book, go into the Virgin Red app.

PS. Tickets are also available for just 5,000 Virgin Points for two people for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie tomorrow, 4th May

Great tip. Booked for 12th May. Taking sister in law whose wanted to see them for ages. She’s very excited

  • Dragonlady says:

So points deducted from account but says processing your order ( and has done for about 40 minutes ) ??

  • Red Flyer says:

Funny how nobody moaning about value with this one – 220 Virgin points required per £1 of face value compared to just 54 points per £1 of face value for the cruise deal! 😂

  • alan1 says:

I saw them at The O2 this week and it’s an excellent concert.

    • Mark says:

There’s been lots of complaints about the current tour, people not being able to see because of the stage layout etc,

      • Alan says:

If you have a side of stage ticket then I can understand. They have got a pair of very large staircases which would block out a lot. Fortunately I had high up far end so direct view of front of stage. This was deliberate as I hate the seats on the side as you face inwards but not the stage.

  • freckles says:

Have seen them a few times including tonight in Glasgow – it’s not their best tour

  • Dragonlady says:

So I’m still seeing the same message as last night ( order being processed ). Has anyone else who redeemed the offer yesterday had any more confirmation than this ? Panicking a bit as I’ll need to book a hotel if we have got tickets.
    Many thanks.

    • CheshirePete says:

I booked at 16:58 yesterday and got the confirmation at 17:13.

In that it asks you to reply with the name of the guest. I did this morning and within 10 minutes received a personal reply from the team confirming our names will be passed onto the venue.

  • TheHanif says:

Not strictly on topic but kind of related, Which would people say is a better experience at the O2 for the same show: Marriot Moments or Qatar Collection?
    Thanks

    • Rob says:

Qatar – no brainer given the £400 of food and drink included and the very high quality of the private club.

If you don’t drink or want a more intimate experience (the box holds 12, the club 200) go Marriott.

  • Oxonboy says:

All gone by the time I received the HfP email this morning.

    • Rob says:

Sorry. Article went up yesterday afternoon.

      • Oxonboy says:

How do readers hear about these tips in a timely fashion if they’re not monitoring the website?

Tickets for the Hoodie bloke still available. Availability still for the Virgin Cruises offer it seems.

        • Rob says:

To be honest, for something where only a handful of people can benefit (there were only 30 pairs of tickets here) we’re happy to let those who are on the site multiple times per day, often contributing to the forum or the comments, have a free run.

We never send ‘middle of the day’ emails, so if you’re on the daily email list then you will miss out on a few very hot deals by the time you receive them the next day. We can often sell out something really good within an hour.

Even if you get the daily emails, a mid afternoon visit to the website can pay dividends.
