(SOLD OUT) Good Take That VIP deal in Manchester next week for Virgin Points

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

As you have possibly seen in the national press, Take That has moved its five Manchester concerts next week from the unfinished Co-Op Live arena to the AO (Manchester) Arena.

This is great news if you have Virgin Points, because Virgin Red has a box at the AO Arena.

Because these concerts have been arranged at very short notice, Virgin Red is knocking out the VIP box tickets at a good price.

Virgin Red Room AO Arena

For just 20,000 Virgin Points, you will receive two tickets for the Virgin Red Room suite for one of the Take That concerts. Olly Murs is supporting.

The dates are 7th May, 9th May, 10th May, 11th May and 12th May.

You will also get a free parking space at the arena and fast track access. Food and drink is NOT included (free soft drinks are available) but there is a private cash bar available – no queuing required!

Sinead wrote an article here about her experience in the Virgin Red Room at the AO Arena.

To book, go into the Virgin Red app.

PS. Tickets are also available for just 5,000 Virgin Points for two people for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie tomorrow, 4th May

Sorry this was meant to be a reply about Qatar collection.

These are auctions, the Vip packages went for 185k avios.

Same as Dragonlady, booked but still saying processing order. Have had e mail confirming purchase and indicating tickets will be added to Virgin Red account but no show as yet.
Is anyone else experiencing the same situation?

    • CheshirePete says:

My order in the APP stayed as “were processing” even though the 2nd email which you should get from the “VRL Reward team” which is the firm confirmation and then asking you to reply with the name of the guest.

Seems to me there is some kind of manual process at work here, perhaps there might be a grey zone when you can apply for the tickets but they then sell out? My own experience from yesterday is that I got the actual confirmation around 20 minutes after I booked in the APP.

Managed to book 2 tickets for my wife and daughter. She’s super happy and I’m chuffed I check this website a couple of times a day. Many thanks Rob and the team.

  • Dragonlady says:

OH contacted VR via X this afternoon. They’d emailed confirmation at lunchtime but it had gone into junk folder ( it didn’t have a virgin sounding address ) .
Anyway that now seems to be sorted so just a hotel to sort now. I hope all that were successful have a great time. Busy week for me 🙂 as I’m off to see The Boss ( again ) tomorrow 👍👍 .

  • Geoggy says:

Thanks for posting. Went last night – had a great night. Probably not as great as the “lounge host” mind. A role that seems to involve bringing your partner, getting pissed and getting in the guests way. Met a few HFP’ers also 👍🏻
