Hilton Honors has launched what is, almost certainly, going to be the best value hotel ‘experiences’ redemption of 2024 – if you’re a Formula 1 fan.

You can get two tickets to a VIP party at Silverstone to watch the British Grand Prix on Sunday 7th July for just 125,000 Hilton Honors points for two people.

You can redeem on the Hilton Experiences site here.

Hilton British Grand prix party

Regular readers may remember that Hilton trialled this last year with an event on the Friday practice day. This year it has brought that back – you can go for 100,000 Hilton Honors points – but doubled down with an event on race day too.

Hilton operates the Hilton Garden Inn hotel which is built into the circuit at Silverstone, overlooking the Hamilton Straight. The hotel was built with a roof terrace to allow events like this to take place.

This is how the race day event is described:

Enjoy all day VIP hospitality with free-flowing food and beverages and unrivalled views of the start/finish line and the pit lane from one of the most exclusive parts of the track.

In addition to your experience, your day is inclusive of the following:

– Head to the Concert Zone to enjoy in person driver talks at The Main Stage
– Roll up your sleeves and challenge McLaren’s pit stop time at the official F1 Fanzone Pitstop Challenge
– Champion your inner racing driver and compete against Lando’s Silverstone lap record at the official F1 Fanzone Racing Simulators
– Explore historic parts of the track at your leisure and observe the iconic 180mph speed of Copse Corner
– Explore the Entertainment Village and Sports Zones
– Giant screen playing live action-packed racing

Please note this package does not include rail or airfare. Parking is limited, therefore complimentary shuttle buses will be available to and from Milton Keynes train station.

No children under 7 are allowed because, well, you’re on a roof. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

weirdly the Friday feels like a ripoff @100k (which of course is still a decent deal)….

    • tony says:

      +1 to that.

      • NicktheGreek says:

Given GA is £139pp on the Friday and as I understand this offers the same access, you’re basically paying £60pp for a nicer view, less crowds, and free food and drink. I’d say it’s pretty good value (and good enough for me to splurge on…)

        • Rob says:

….. plus free transfer from MK.

          • NicktheGreek says:

I think we’re saying the same thing, in different ways…My point was they advertise many of the perks of the experience as the below:

I believe these are all available to GA attendees and it isn’t clear if this offers priority etc, so if you booked this experience you can still do and see everything you could do on the Friday for £139pp with a GA ticket. As such, you’re paying not much more than GA to have a much more comfortable time, plus complimentary food + beverages, plus still do and see whatever you want around the circuit. It’s a good deal.

          • NicktheGreek says:

my other comment here is for babyg – my bad

But also Rob – do you know if the complimentary transfer is bespoke, or a free ticket on the (£8 on Friday) public transfer offered from MK? This question is as much for anyone that may know the answer…

        • babyg says:

you cant compare GA with hospitality, its NOT the same access.. You need to compare hospitality with hospitality, the closet is £650PP for Friday..
          https://hospitality.silverstone.co.uk/en/f1/starting-grid-hospitality/

        • babyg says:

@NicktheGreek – agreed (i think), yes you are “paying” GA(ish) prices(£550 if you buy the points) for a hospitality(£2,000 min) experience..

  • Can2 says:

One day I don’t visit HfP at 9am and I miss this great deal.

  • AC says:

All I see are the auctions, do these tend to get to crazy prices?

    • Rob says:

      ?

The Friday rooftop party is still there for Buy It Now.

    • babyg says:

Hilton F1 auctions typically go from 500k(if youre lucky) to millions these days… the Friday buy now is a great deal

      • Matthew says:

Yeah they go for a lot these days. My 2 day paddock club tickets (Abu Dhabi GP) for 240,000 Hilton points just before Covid seems like a never to be seen again bargain now!

  • TGLoyalty says:

Saw this at 7am and thought I’ve had enough of going to Silverstone and passed.

I think next year there will be plenty of parties in there new apartments. Wonder will sponsors will get tickets.

  • Nathan says:

Thanks for the heads-up, Rob. Nice to finally use the points that I always feel I hoard waiting for a “better” deal on hotels 😅

  • Robert says:

Just seeing this at lunch time! How can I set up Seat Spy alerts? I have a full membership with them but didn’t know they have events alerts along with the seats.

  • Jay says:

I subscribe to Seatspy but have never received any notification of offers like this, what am I missing?

    • The Savage Squirrel says:

I had a previous “events” alert set up but transfer to the new site layout seems to have nuked it – which this post made me realise, so new one set up now. Just head to the “Events” tab and it’s all straightforward.

    • Rob says:

You haven’t activated it?! There is a big tab marked ‘Events’ on the website ….

  • UKFER says:

I did this last year through corporate hospitality and had a great time. Well done anyone who got the tickets.
