Get 1,000 Etihad miles on every Hyatt stay in February and March – on TOP of your points

Here’s an interesting promotion with no real downside.
World of Hyatt will give you 1,000 Etihad Guest miles for every Hyatt stay you complete in February and March 2024.
This is ON TOP of the World of Hyatt points that you would usually earn. You are not giving anything up, and will earn 1,000 Etihad Guest miles in return.

You must register for the offer here.
The offer is valid on cash or reward stays.
All Hyatt properties are taking part, including Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties booked via Hyatt. Existing bookings count.
If you currently earn Etihad Guest miles at Hyatt instead of taking World of Hyatt points, you can also take part. You will receive the usual 500 Etihad Guest miles per stay, in lieu of points, plus the bonus 1,000 Etihad Guest miles on top.
There is a reason why this is more interesting than you think
I know what you’re thinking. You don’t have any Etihad Guest miles at the moment and, as a predominantly long haul airline, you can’t do much with the small amount you might earn in February and March via this offer.
The flippant answer is, of course, ‘Why not take them?’. The miles are free, a reason to have some Etihad Guest miles may turn up before they expire (any activity every 18 months preserves them) and signing up for the offer is not tricky.
The smarter answer is this – you can redeem Etihad Guest miles for cash.

The Etihad Guest Reward Card is explained on the Etihad website here. It is a virtual Visa card that you can operate via your phone. It links to your Etihad Guest account and you can transfer points from Etihad Guest onto it and then spend the money wherever you wish.
I will update our main article on how the Etihad Guest Reward Card works in a few days. However, last time we looked at it you got 0.55p per mile.
This means that you’d be earning £5.50 in virtual Visa cash for every Hyatt stay you complete in February and March. Not a fortune, of course, but you might as well sign up for it.
You can top up your miles too – details of all of the UK options for earning Etihad Guest miles from credit cards can be found in this article.
You can register for this Hyatt / Etihad promotion here.
Note that registration closes on 29th February even though the offer runs to 30th March.
