The core HfP is all in the UK this Christmas. I am in London, Rhys is off in the West Country with a huge number of extended family members and Sinead is at home hoping that her second child will hang on until the planned due date early next month!

Thank you for your support over the past year. We managed grow page views again – up 12% on 2022 – which means we’ve grown every year, even during the pandemic, since the site launched in 2012.

We will slowly get back into things tomorrow as Rhys and I look back over our year in travel.

    Merry Christmas everyone from London! We’ll be enjoying brunch with my family today. After a record year of travelling (six long-haul trips and stopped counting short-haul ones!), I have nothing planned until Easter.

    Happy Christmas to all from Berkshire. Had my brother’s family over yesterday as they are off to the inlaws today. My mum is staying with us until 27th then on 28th family from Brazil arrive and stay until 12 Jan when we’re all off to Portugal. We were supposed to be going to see Crazy for You in early January but they unexpectedly closed the show earlier this month so it’s been substituted by Frozen the Musical, that I am looking forward to not, surrounded by little girls dressed in blue. Oh well.

    Merry Christmas to all from balmy Berkshire. Amazing to see some people in shorts and sleeveless tops in our local town yesterday. Off to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand shortly then a couple of trips booked to Portugal (please BA put some more flights on )
