Happy Christmas to you and your family from all of the team here at HfP.

The core HfP is all in the UK this Christmas. I am in London, Rhys is off in the West Country with a huge number of extended family members and Sinead is at home hoping that her second child will hang on until the planned due date early next month!

Happy Christmas from the Head for Points team

(We have recruited an excellent ex-Amex and ex-Virgin Atlantic marketing person, Katie Ridgers, to cover for Sinead in 2024 and you will be seeing her name on various pieces of content in the new year.)

Thank you for your support over the past year. We managed grow page views again – up 12% on 2022 – which means we’ve grown every year, even during the pandemic, since the site launched in 2012.

Please feel free to share your Christmas travel plans – hopefully more ambitious than ours! – in the comments.

We will slowly get back into things tomorrow as Rhys and I look back over our year in travel.

With our best wishes,

Rob, Rhys, Sinead and Katie

Merry Christmas from a damp and grey (but dry) Hertfordshire. Thankful that we are all safe and well. Enjoy the holidays!

Merry Christmas everyone! We’re in London, hosting at ours which means I have two very hungry little nieces to entertain.

Thanks to everyone for all the excellent advice given this year, to me and all others planning travel, and whose carefully laid travel plans have gone awry at the last minute!

Merry Xmas to all, and a special festive shout for the HfP team and all the hard work they do.

Looking forward to two holidays traveling in CE, to Madeira and Kefalonia. I know it’s not much but for a beginner I am quite happy with that. Hopefully next year I will be boring you with questions about the Caribbean or Mauritius.

Respect to post 2 by BJ, important to remember this when we can’t quite manage what we feel we are entitled to.

Merry Christmas from Luxembourg, Germany and the UK. Just driving back to England from pre-Christmas on the Middle Rhine and hoping Eurotunnel will be playing ball when we get there.
Big thanks to all the HfP team (and commenters) for another year of advice. Wasn’t able to make the most of it this year, though we did use Emyr’s excellent service for an anniversary stay, but hoping to be back travelling in 2024!
